Four years after the largest sovereign default in history, what lessons can be learned from Argentina? Empirical evidence is discussed in light of ethical considerations to identify practical solutions to some of the ongoing problems. Participants include the First Lady of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner; Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz; Jose Nun, Secretary of Culture, Republic of Argentina; Jose Serra, Mayor of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Bradford Smith, the Ford Foundation; and others.
