Friday, October 14, 2005 (EST) - Grassroots Nonviolent Resistance to Israeli Occupation

Friday, October 14 at 7:00 pm
Unitarian Church of All Souls
1157 Lexington Avenue (at 80th St.) in
Reidy Friendship Hall

GRASSROOTS NONVIOLENT RESISTANCE TO ISRAELI OCCUPATION

The International Solidarity Movement and the Peace Task Force
present a discussion on the Palestinian/Israeli Nonviolent Movement.

Palestinian AYED MORRAR and Israeli JONATHAN POLLAK are friends and
among the major figures in the Palestinian led, Israeli supported
nonviolent struggle against Israel's military occupation.  Largely
unreported by the media, thousands of Palestinians and hundreds of
Israelis are waging a major, grassroots nonviolent campaign of
resistance to the construction of Israel's wall.  We invite you to
hear their stories directly from them.

Cosponsors include Artists for Peace, Community Church Action for
Justice Committee, the Dialogue Project, and Not In Our Name
Education Committee and St. Bartholomew's Church-St. Bart's in the
City and Just Peace Ministries. (Free event - contributions appreciated)
